Organization!

So today in [early] anticipation of the March Craft Saturday event, I decided to get organized. I have spent the day organizing my displays, and while my earrings still have a long way to go (there are seriously like a bajillion pairs to get organized and priced) my necklaces are finished! Huzzah!

Also, the necklace from my last post is now in the shop in two colors, bubble gum and pistachio.

Sorry to everybody who has been watching the blog intently for store updates and the like; the holidays were super-busy and I was the unexpectedly fired from my job and had to frantically search for a new one, but things seem to have settled down a bit for the time being. The pictured necklace (made for a holiday gift exchange) is coming to the shop soon in hot pink. And a similar style in that nice teal color will be coming, as well. Keep your eyes peeled!

Be on the lookout for these citrine earrings! The only reason they're not up yet is because it's been too overcast to get enough pictures. Pretty much of anything, actually. So once the sky clears up in Ames, Iowa, look for lots of new stuff from me. I've been trying to turn a rough spot in my life into creative energy, and soon enough I'm going to list 'em all. Two new necklaces, some new earrings, lots of cool stuff!

I've had so many compliments on my onyx and snowflake quartz necklace that I've decided to redo it for sale in my Etsy shop. The only changes will be that the black round beads will be agate this time, and the necklace will be a bit longer. Look for it soon!

I took a bunch of pictures for use in a new pick-your-print set on Etsy yesterday at a local park. I know some of them are very similar, but it's very often subtle differences that determine whether you love something or hate it. This is my blog, I guess. I initially wasn't going to do a blog because I already have a personal and art LiveJournal and a myspace page, but since this is run by Google and all I had to do was sign in through Google and customize, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I am thinking this will mostly be used to spread insider info about my Etsy shop like sales and such (BOGO 50% off storewide 6/29/07-7/1/07), but there may be some personal entries thrown in here and there...
